2. Overview
This website sets no cookies for visitors, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no external fonts, maps or video players and contains no contact form. Fonts, images, videos and scripts are served entirely from our own web space – when you visit this page your browser does not connect to any third party.
The two videos on this site are hosted on our own web space as well. They are only loaded once you click play and are not embedded via YouTube or any other service.
3. Cookies
This website does not set cookies and stores nothing else on your device – neither for statistics nor for settings. There is therefore no cookie banner and no consent prompt: consent under section 25 TDDDG is only required where information is stored on or read from the device, and neither happens here.
One exception does not concern you as a visitor: when the owner or an editor signs in to the administration area, the underlying system (WordPress) sets a session cookie that keeps them signed in. It is set only on sign-in and serves that purpose alone.
4. Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of the website. The retention period is determined by the hosting provider.

The provider supplies the web space and processes the data listed under “Server log files” on our behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Details of the provider’s own processing can be found in their privacy policy.
6. Contact by e-mail
If you write to me by e-mail, your details will be stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Links to social networks
This website links to profiles on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, to podcast platforms and to the publisher and the reading samples of the books. These are plain text links only – no content from these providers is loaded and no data is transmitted to them before you click. Only when you follow such a link do you reach the provider’s website, where their own privacy policy applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

This site should only be reachable over an encrypted connection (https). You can tell whether the connection is encrypted by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
